Hi all, I’d like to talk about my experience trying to release an app on the App store.
I had a task management web app (Xtrack) that I also built a mobile vesrion for using Expo / React Native. I submitted it to the App store but unfortunately it was rejected for spam.
This item has been rejected for the following reasons:
4.3.0 Design: Spam
It’s a little sad to get rejected but I guess 🍎 has their own reasons. Besides that, the DX (developer experience) with React Native and EAS (Expo Application Services) has been really great, as EAS handles a lot of uploading of the legal stuff that comes with a mobile app.
The key learning point is to be intentional about your applications so that they have a higher chance of when trying to get approved in e.g. App Store or Play Store.
